Volunteer of Mechanical College in Smart China Expo
On August 26, 2019, the 2019 China International Intelligent Industry Expo kicked off in Chongqing. This conference is highly valued by the country and society. Both the scale of the exhibition and the quality of the exhibition have been greatly improved in all aspects. Our game "The Smurfs" is once again active as a blue landscape on the front line of the Smart Expo.
From August 19th to 21st, to better complete this volunteer service, the Communist Youth League Municipal Committee organized more than 1,200 volunteers to conduct a three-day volunteer training at Chongqing University. Among them, a total of 27 volunteers from the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering participated. The 17-level counselor Xiaojun Wang and the 18th-level counselor Dashuai Yang participated in the event as the leading teachers.
After pre-training in the early stage, all the volunteers began to struggle in their posts from the 26th.
During the conference, Yongyi Huang, secretary of Chongqing Communist Youth League Municipal Committee, came to visit the volunteers and put forward high evaluation and higher expectations for our volunteer work.
On the morning of the 27th, President Zongyi Zhang of Chongqing University and his entourage came to the conference site. After visiting the exhibition hall of Chongqing University, they visited the volunteer students of Chongqing University and took a group photo with volunteer representatives and leading teachers.
With the progress of the conference, the mechanical volunteers who are actively struggling at work have also gained considerable gains and insights.

During the four days of volunteer activities, the workload is very heavy every day, especially in the comprehensive service office we are in charge of. Because of the subway exit, the visitors come here to consult us. Although they are a little tired, it is also because of this that I have a better understanding of the true meaning of volunteer activities, and I hope to contribute to this smart Expo. In these four days of volunteer activities, I have gained friendship, broadened my horizons, and enriched my experience. I celebrate the successful conclusion of this smart China Expo. With the passage of time, the 2019 smart Expo came to a successful end on the afternoon of 29, and the volunteer service of Smurfs also came to a successful end. As a member of the school of mechanical engineering of Chongqing University, as well as a glorious youth volunteer of Chongqing University, we will maintain a positive attitude, full of dedication and a high sense of responsibility. We will not live up to President Xi's ardent instructions to the youth, to better participate in the next grand meeting "Smurfs" team next year.
