Research Field

Equipment intelligent operation and maintenance based on "Internet of Things-Edge Computing-Cloud platform"

1. Digital-Twin based intelligent operation and maintenance of key equipment.

2. Research on Wireless Sensor Network in special and harsh environment.

3. Research on measurement technology and instrument.

Research and Honors

Dr. Tang’s research interests focus on equipment intelligent operation and maintenance include fault diagnosis and life prediction of electromechanical equipment, measurement technology and virtual instrument, wireless sensor network. He has successively presided over more than 30 national key R & D projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China, national "863" program, national defense and military industry program, and won 1 second prize of national technological invention, 1 second prize of national scientific and technological progress, 1 second prize of national teaching achievement, and 5 first prizes of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress as the main performer. He has published 1 monographs and over 180 technical papers in international journals and conferences in multiple engineering disciplines, been authorized 6 invention patents. Dr. Tang serves as the vice chairman of the National University Mechanical Engineering Testing Technology Research Association and the deputy director of the Dynamic Testing Committee of the Chinese Society of Vibration Engineering.

He is experts who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council Government, young and middle-aged experts who have made outstanding contributions at the national level, have been selected as the national candidates for the "million talents project".
